Lie Big have been asked to provide a track for a tribute album to 90's French grunge band, Witness. The track is called 'I Was Born To Destroy' and will be included on the trubute CD to be released through French Indie Label, Chabane's Records sometime in July. More news on the final release date will follow.

Work is still continuing slowly on the new Lie Big album, most of the writing is now complete on the music side and the band are working together to complete the lyrics and finish the recording process by the summer.

The new album is on hold at the moment due to Ade's ongoing illness, it now looks like recording will resume in the new year and the band hope to have the album ready by the middle 2008. The writing is continuing but it will take longer to complete than first planned.
Ade is currently working on a mini solo project to fill the time between being ill and visiting hospitals. More news to come when the project is nearing completion. The final music will be a little different to Lie Big and the aim is to create a 20 minute E.P. 29/07/07
Work on the new Lie Big album began in earnest this week when the band convened at Ade's home studio in The Netherlands. Ideas were used, abused, chopped, changed, hacked, thrashed into submission and bent out of shape in the Lie Big style. At the moment there are six definite tracks for the album from these sessions, each in various stages of production and recording. The band are pretty excited about the new material, especially a new track called Drain Me (working title). Check out the MySpace blog for more information.

The Lie Big - Severed album is now available for sale through CD Baby and all tracks are available there to preview .Severed will also be available soon through the iTunes Store and other online outlets. The launch party is tentatively scheduled for the end of June in the Netherlands. Stay tuned for more news.
